Material
7075 is the Alloy of choice. Simply put it offers the best strength to weight ratio while simultaneously being great at heat dissipation.
Lightweight and strong are key properties we look for. For that reason we use this 7075 Alloy for all our brakes and accessories.
Dual Dial System
The DDS adjustment is easy to use and set-up.
It is designed in a way that, the lever reach can be adjusted without affecting the biting point. In turn the biting point can also be adjusted without affecting the reach of the lever.
A 2mm Hex key can be used to adjust the biting point. A custom hex key is provided for even easier adjustment.
The lever reach dial is cross diamond rolled for grip with or without gloves.
Lever Ratio
A patented Lewis design, the lever ratio adjustment is for those looking to take the feeling of their braking force and lever position to the ultimate level. Loosen the well hidden bolt, turn the dial underneath and find the perfect setting. Turning the dial will fine tune the braking power and lever position for larger or smaller hands.
Available only on LHT Ultimate brakes.
Hose design
EZmtb K28 KEVLAR BRAIDED
K = Kevlar, 28 = 28 mesh braided per inch.
4-layer nylon hose, an increase of 40% Kevlar, the use of the latest weaving process technology.
A breakthrough in strength for hose design, the K28 keeps that solid feel of the Metal braided hose with the ease of length adjustment and leakproof seal of the standard hoses.
1. PVDF and Teflon.
2. Spiral filament winding.
3. Kevlar fiber braided layer.
4. Tensile and corrosion-resistant casing.
Olive design
No more cutting hose ends and fitting new olives. The detachable olive head can be used multiple times. That comes in very useful for internal routing frames and for getting the perfect length.
Available on all Lewis brakes.
